What is sinus augmentation?

How is a sinus augmentation performed?

After that, a tiny circle is carved out of the bone. Like a trap door, this bone is slid into the sinus cavity, and the void below is packed with bone graft material. Sinus lifts typically only cause mild discomfort. A possible side effect is swelling. In the hours and days after surgery, it is possible to experience minor bleeding from the gums, nose, or mouth.
